Tickets On Sale Now for Two Days of Military Demonstrations, Historic Warbirds and Family-Friendly Aviation Excitement
Colorado Springs, CO. — September 19 - 20, 2026 — The countdown is on for the 2026 Pikes Peak Regional Airshow, returning to the skies over Colorado Springs on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20 for an unforgettable weekend of aviation, history and high-energy aerial performances.
With the airshow now just days away, aviation fans and families throughout Colorado and the surrounding region are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and make plans to arrive early for one of the region’s premier aviation events.
The 2026 flying lineup brings together modern military aviation, precision parachuting, aerobatic performers and an impressive collection of historic aircraft.
Among this year’s featured performers and demonstrations are the Rhino Demonstration Team, showcasing the power and capabilities of the F/A-18 Super Hornet; the Wings of Blue U.S. Air Force Parachute Team; the Trojan Phlyers; Kyle Franklin’s Flying Circus; Brad Wursten Airshows; and a C-130 Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) demonstration.
History will also take flight throughout the weekend with an extraordinary collection of warbirds, including the P-51 Mustang, B-25 Mitchell, F7F Tigercat, TBM Avenger, SBD Dauntless, AD-5 Skyraider and more.
Each day, gates and parking areas open at 8:30 a.m., giving guests time to explore static aircraft displays, vendors and exhibits before the flying portion of the show begins at approximately 10:50 a.m.
The scheduled flying program includes a Missing Man Formation, Wings of Blue, a bomber parade, Trojan Phlyers, F/A-18 demonstration, aerobatic performances, C-130 MAFFS demonstration, fighter parade and the Red Tail P-51 demonstration. The flying portion of the show is scheduled to conclude at approximately 2:25 p.m., followed by an opportunity for guests to experience the hot ramp before the grounds close at 4 p.m.
Beyond the action overhead, the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow offers guests the opportunity to get up close to aircraft and experience aviation history firsthand. Hosted in partnership with the National Museum of World War II Aviation and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, the event celebrates both the past and present of aviation while helping preserve that history for future generations.
Tickets are on sale now, and guests are strongly encouraged to purchase in advance. General Admission provides access to the airshow’s exhibits and performances, while Preferred Seating offers an assigned seat for the day in a dedicated viewing section along with additional amenities.
Several premium experiences are already experiencing extremely limited availability or have sold out. The VIP Canteen Experience is sold out, and the Saturday Sunrise Photo Experience is also sold out, making advance purchase especially important for guests interested in remaining ticket and upgrade options.
General parking is free, and no general parking pass is required. Preferred Parking, chair rentals and official 2026 airshow programs are also available as optional upgrades.
